It all started
with my grandmother "Nana" who lived with us when I was
a child. She was a cook by trade and taught me a lot
about "southern" cooking. Over the years my passion
grew and eventually attended culinary school to learn
the fine art of the craft.
Several years ago
my husband and I moved to Granbury, Texas, which is a
quaint bed and breakfast town known for its historic
downtown square and antique shopping. It is located
just southwest of Fort Worth where warm friendly people
still have hometown values. My neighbor and I started
making jams & jellies for gifts. It was a hit with
family and friends, and I was strongly encouraged to
start marketing and grow a hometown company with a
gourmet twist. I began with local events and have grown
to such a point that we now proudly have Granbury's Best
in stores and ship from coast to coast.
This could not
have been done without the support of my family,
friends, and of course Nana, who is now gone. Each gave
me a lot of help, not to mention believing in me.
Every batch
is made with love. I hope you enjoy these jams and
jellies with your families as we do with ours.
